Your games.
Your device.

For younger players: you can play without giving us your name. If your family chooses saving, this browser keeps a little note of your games. You can ask an adult to clear it.

Playing as a guest

Game rounds and progress live in this tab’s memory by default. There are no accounts. We don’t ask for names, birth dates, answers, stories, locations or recordings. The games don’t use advertising trackers, analytics, fingerprinting or session recording.

The browser normally stores website resources in its ordinary cache. Choosing guest play does not disable the browser’s usual technical behaviour.

Optional remembering

“Remember games” is off until you choose it. Its purpose is to resume and vary games on the same device. Local storage keeps favourite game IDs and settings, one current round per game, seen question IDs, completion flags and small milestone counts. It does not keep your spoken or selected answers.

The saved format is versioned and checked before use. History is capped, and progress is treated as expired after 90 days without an update. Corrupt or unavailable storage falls back to a fresh in-memory game. This is not cloud backup or cross-device syncing.

Your remember/guest choice is stored separately for 90 days solely to respect that choice and avoid asking repeatedly. A previous choice can be changed just as easily in My games.

Downloaded offline games

Choosing “Get ready for the journey” requests storage of game code, content, pages, original art, fonts and icons in this browser’s Cache Storage. The screen reports success only after the full set is checked. Files are versioned; updates ask for a refresh at a suitable stopping point.

First preparation needs internet. Storage limits, private modes and browser clearing or eviction can remove files. Offline files and optional saved progress are separate purposes and separate controls.

Clear or change your choice

In My games, switch remembering off to delete stored progress. “Clear games & stop remembering” also resets progress in this tab. Your guest preference remains solely to honour your choice.

In For parents, “Remove offline files” deletes Milescape’s downloaded caches and unregisters its offline worker. It leaves saved game progress alone. Your browser’s site-data controls can remove both, including the saved choice.

Website requests and sharing

While online, your browser requests pages and assets from the website host. Those requests include connection information such as IP address and browser details. Hosting providers may keep connection, delivery or security logs; local gameplay is not a promise that no information is processed anywhere.

No third-party game API is used while you play. Fonts and artwork are served with the site. Adult-initiated sharing may open the device’s chosen sharing service. Only a public Milescape link is passed, without game progress or personal answers.
